Helping to raise money for community projects, the Tedsmore Estate is often used by groups as a venue for sponsored activities. The Ruyton XI Towns Charter Group held their Fun Run at Tedsmore in May 2008 to raise funds for various charities. In the early summer of 2008, 50 school children from the Primary School that Reverend Robert Parker attended in the 19...(?)'s, came to Tedsmore Estate to spend the day exploring. With visits to the Deer Park, Hereford Cattle herd, trailer rides and treasure hunts in the woods around the Hall. In 2009, we will play host to a number of schools who will visit the farm and the estate - here's hoping for unusual English summer weather - SOME SUN!

 

 

Reverend and Mrs Parker, Tedsmore Hall and Estate, have played host to a number of fundraising events for St Michael's Church and particularly recently, the fundraising for the church remodelling project.

In 2007, amongst other events we had the Tedsmore Garden Party that raised a considerable amount with all kinds of stalls and games for all the family.

Numerous other events have occured in 2008 including the extremely successful Promise Auction and Hog Roast in September. The auction raised in the region of £10,000 for the church remodelling with promises ranging from a bag of spuds to a days sailing from Cowes.
